DigitavText is operated by Digitav and we respect the privacy of our customers and visitors. We collect information on individuals as employees and members of businesses and other organisations, and then use those details in order to carry out our trade. We DO NOT sell personal details to any third party. We collect information from a number of sources and this will include names, addresses, contact details and job positions for individuals. We then use that information to identify and follow sales leads, create accounts and contact you as necessary to supply and promote our services. All information is collected in good faith and we take all practical steps to ensure that it is correct. We may contact you from time to time to check the accuracy of such information and to make sure that it is kept up to date. Whilst we hold your details we undertake to ensure that it is kept securely so that it is not obtained by those not authorised to hold it. When we dispose of personal details then it is always destroyed in such a way that it cannot be recovered and reassembled by others. |

Sometimes it is necessary to provide your details to our suppliers and contractors so that we can continue to provide a service to you. We only use reputable companies to assist with our business needs and we expect all our suppliers to comply with the minimum requirements as outlined in the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). We will also provide your details to third parties where we are obliged to do so by law and where we have been ordered to do so by a UK court of law. For some projects we collect personal details including names and telephone numbers on behalf of our customers. All information in our possession is treated with the same regard as if it was ours. We only pass on such information to the customer that commissioned the project and never disclose this information to their competitors or other third parties. You can request a copy of the information that we keep on you by contacting us and once we have validated your request we will return a copy of the details we keep. Whilst we try to provide this service for free we may charge a small administration fee for repetitive requests. |
