If you have a service or information to offer your customers then Premium Rate (reverse billing) allows you to collect revenue instantly and easily without the need to use credit or debit cards. Common applications include entering competitions, music requests, receiving multimedia content such as ringtones or videos, or informational services like football scores or news.

Normally combined with a shortcode and keyword, your customers text a request for your services. Our system replies with a confirmation message which is then charged to your customers’ account at the premium rate. Sub keywords allow customers to include a choice in their reply which is then used to select winners from the correct answer, or keep running totals for voting. They can also be used where you are offering more than one download option (e.g. ringtones or video) or where you need to categorise your customers.

Reverse billing can also be used to collect donations for your club or organisation or as a cash free means for collecting subscriptions. Similar to above your donor, member or patron will send you a text which receives an automatic confirmation and which results in a charge from their service provider. You then receive the proportion of the revenue after call, service and network charges have been deducted.

All incoming requests are logged and the customers’ mobile number are added to your address book. These numbers can then be used for marketing or future campaigns and can also be exported so that you have a permanent record of your new customers.
